Knowledge-based online courses take an average of 30 minutes to complete and consist of multimedia presentations with illustrative slides narrated in lecture format. The offerings cover a diverse range of topics of interest to the healthcare professional. Below is a complete, alphabetical listing of all courses as of January 2009. As with the rest of Pacific EMPRINTS’ distance learning offerings, knowledge-based courses are free, and a Certificate of Completion is available to be printed for these courses, upon completion of the appropriate post-test with a score of 80% or higher. In addition, AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are available for all knowledge-based online courses through the Center for Continuing Medical Education at the Yale School of Medicine.
